I would size down for a great snug fit
I'm a 42-44 but got a medium and couldn't be happier. Heavy enough to be substantial but malleable enough to be comfortable right away. I'm 5'10" 200 and depending on the fit I'm either a large or in between a medium and a large and this medium fits perfect. Great with a T and can layer with a flannel or sweatshirt. Wish schott would do double zippers though to make it easier when you sit.
