Mattifying Primer

New formula - not the same

I just received my order of Mattifying Primer from Drop 2 of the sale and it is not the same formula as I have been using for years. I will be returning it. There is a sticker on the box with a list of new ingredients, which do not match the ingredients listed on the website or on my previous supply. Unfortunately, this new formula has a very strong citrus sent that does not dissipate over time. The scent was so strong that my husband noticed it when I put a little on my wrist and did not like it. I don't know if this new primer is as good as the old one since I couldn't get past the smell and am sensitive to citrus on my skin, which is a new ingredient. I am going to have to look for a replacement product. I've been a devoted 100%Pure customer for over 15 years and am really sad to see so many products changing or being discontinued. Please bring back the old formula!! The original or previous formula was amazing. I used it everyday with or without foundation. I've included a picture of the new list of ingredients.

Not mattifying- but really great skincare

I'll start off by saying I don't consider this primer to be mattifying. If anything, it gives you a very healthy glow. I'm kind of afraid to try the luminous primer, if this is considered mattifying. I don't like to wear this under foundation because I end up looking shiny in a couple of hours. However, I do love wearing this product instead of foundation. It glides on satiny smooth and reflects light very well. It feels like it creates a protective barrier over my skin, and it even tames or reflects light away from my redness. So, skincare and glow? Yes. Mattifying? No. I hadn't bought this product in years but bought it again recently and it does seem to have a bit of a stronger scent now which I didn't pick up on before. I like it, so I hope it doesn't trigger any allergies.

Just Bad

I miss the old formula. This new one is not mattifying in the least, and certainly not pore-blurring. It makes my skin slimy and slick, no matter if I wear it alone or over moisturizer, and it makes the foundation cling to every individual pore. It’s like I have a million tiny polka dots on my face.
