Browning Dark Ops HD Pro

After having a great Dark Ops HD for a few years I wanted the new Pro model, along with the new features. The Pro is smaller, has an internal viewing screen, a better latch, a nice mounting bracket, and takes better video. Otherwise the older HD was perfect. The Pro has been a nice upgrade. I like the viewing screen for checking pictures out in the woods. Both cameras work fine even in the snow and cold, so far down to minus 20 degrees F, no problem. If you need spare parts, Browning mails them out free.

Good Trail Camera

These trailcams are quite small and easy to hide. They take excellent pictures, especially when you consider their cost. Battery life is very good and they are quite easy to set up. So far they have worked well and I consider them an excellent value.

Wish we had this sooner!

Great pictures of two "don't touch me" strays we're trying to 'tame'. Holstein (the female) and Sir (of course the male). Even if we can't, it is great seeing when they come and go from our porch. They used to be in the barn but a nuisance to feed them there and never knew what was eating the kibble during the day besides them. We did get pictures of a frog swimming in the water bowl and, of course, the mice. I pull the card every day and copy pictures to a flash drive where I can edit. Then clear the card. Date and time on the pictures help us track these cats. Also documented their mating this morning! We're hoping she'll have them on the porch, but no guarantee. No, live traps are not an option with the female; she has an injured hind leg and her panic in it could cause more serious damage. He's too crafty to fall for the trap. Life in the country - love it!
