Nice piece of history, but...
Nice piece of history. The price was high, especially for slightly dented and creased packaging. Estes should sell damaged packaging at a discount and notify the customer in advance. If this is truly a collectible piece of history, Estes should not be selling it in damaged packaging.

Damaged Gleda May Box
Do not order this product unless you do not care if the box is damaged. Only after following up several times on my end did I find out all of the boxes that are left have a crease in them. If that doesn’t matter then buy the product. I don’t think there will be any problems with the rocket parts. I collect rockets in their packaging and I expect to receive what I pay for and I didn’t and the customer support is awful

I have known Vern & Gleda Estes since the 1960's. My father, Ellsworth Beetch was the second NAR president following G. Harry Stine in 1967. NARAM 9 was held in my home town of Mankato MN. Guess you could say am well versed in model rocketry. Glad to add this kit to my collection in her honor.
