Love This Instant Barley!

I’m so happy World Wide Botanicals has a fine soluble instant barley instead of just the conventional ground style - now I can make my favorite Italian beverage, caffe d’orzo, a.k.a. instant barley, quickly and easily. It dissolves instantly and has a slightly sweet, roasted flavor reminiscent of coffee without the caffeine and acidity. I add a few shakes of pumpkin pie spice before I add water for extra flavor. It’s even great served cold or over ice! I’ve also used the barley teabags by World Wide Botanicals for when I am away from home so I have my caffe d’orzo ready to enjoy.
