Shorts very short

The print is adorable and the set is very soft, but the shorts are much shorter than normal sizing about 2 inches shorter than normal shorts in both my boys sizes. When you wash even on cold and low they shrink even more. Bought these for our Disney trip and am not sure if I will have the kids wear them now because of the shorts. Very disappointed because we waited awhile to get these and I thought they would be super cute for a park day.
