Not What I Expected

I gave a 3 star review because I personally wasn’t too fond of the taste. However, I also would like to implore others who are reading this review to take it with a grain of salt. Just because my taste preferences may be different from most, I don't want to give the impression that TBOF's Raw Mango Pickle is not a quality product. I personally was expecting smaller pieces of mango with much less of the tough mango seed, more of a crunch, and less of a heavy oily taste. And the color of the raw mango pieces was also a little dull. When I make raw mango pickle at home, I can see bright yellow in contrast with the green of the rind, and when I mix it with oil and pickling masala, it results in a bright mixture of color and a yummy, tangy, spicy crunch. Nonetheless, TBOF's Raw Mango Pickle adds a nice boost of flavor to whatever you are eating. I admire TBOF’s vision for sustainability and integrity in farming that keep the planet's health and the consumer's health in mind. You can feel good about eating it because you know all the ingredients are responsibly sourced and therefore wholesome.
