WHY GOD WHY?

The polish formula is decent, nothing to write home about. The look of the polish is a pretty basic white shimmer. I was very sad to learn that generative AI was used in the website images for this polish (the AI image has since been removed but the brand never addressed this even though myself and others asked). I also don’t like that the bottle shape is ever so slightly bigger than my square bottles from other brands that all fit nicely together.

I bought Why God Why? to match my internal monologue, and it absolutely delivers. In sunlight it’s celestial chrome; indoors it shifts pink-blue like a glamorous existential crisis. Three coats gives full “ethereal but coping” opacity, and a glossy topcoat pushes it straight into biblical shimmer territory. Perfect for dramatic window-staring, cryptic texting, and looking transcendent while everything else is… not. 10/10. If I must spiral, I will do so iridescently.

The color shift is just lovely, much more like abalone than plain white pearl. It applies and wears wonderfully, and the branding can’t be beat haha. I can’t wait for more colors to buy!
