Help 'Em Up Harness

It worked great at first but cut into our dog's inside thigh within a week.

It worked great at first. It was mean to replace an older Walkin Lift Combo Harness Front & Rear. But the rear part of the new harness cut into Franklin's inside thigh. We had to remove the rear part & our vet put him on antibiotics and wound wash. We intended to add more padding to the inside thigh strap to make it not cut. The original Walkin Lift Combo had a much thicker padding on the inside of the thighs. It actually is a much easier design to put on & take off than the original. The flaw was in top thin padding over the straps that go inside the thighs. And these straps are what helps lift the dog.

My 11 year old Cavalier has a spinal issue that causes her to lose mobility in her rear legs. This harness has given her more confidence to walk and we can quickly help her if her legs start to slip or when she stops to do her business. She wags her tail now when she walks, which she stopped doing when this problem arose. I definitely can recommend this project.
