A++ for the Node Icon

I’m really impressed with The Audio Factory. They shipped it out sooo fast that I received it in barely over 24 hours, so kudos to them. This is my first music streamer, so I didn’t know what to expect. I was up and running in no time because the Node Icon is very easy to setup and use. Based on all the reviews I read, I expected the Node Icon to sound amazing and I was not disappointed. The clarity is great and it has a warm sound that I wasn’t expecting. Very happy with this purchase!

here would be the few suggestions for Bluesound. 1. and the biggest one !!! At this price point, you should not have to pay an extra 250 for room correction with Dirac if necessary develop your own like Wiim does. 2. does not alway recognize device requests for tidal connect as far as what Audio factory sent. the refurb looked brand new worked like brand new and will definitely bookmark them for more audio purchases.

Good Sound Not so good functionality

Am considering returning this unit because the HDMI and USB inputs from my TV mute the player, and there is NO WAY to unmute it from the app so I have to do it manually each time. Optical is OK but I bought this unit for its eARC function but I cant use it. I've read this is an issue Bluesound has been aware of for a few years and still persists. I remember now from a prior purchase that BluOs evolves slowly if at all. Disappointed because it sounds good. Returning it is a big hassle too so I'm not thrilled at all with my purchase.
