It cut .028" diameter dressmaker pins. The jaws didn't distort or chip like the other pair I threw away. At least Excel engraves their logo on the tool. The other manufacturer was too embarrassed to engrave theirs.

For this price point these pliers are very good. I use them for my hobby. They are not extremely well refined or machined but than that would be a higher price point. A solid plier for the price.
