Nice firm pad that is placed in the perfect location.
These bibs have a nice firm pad, and it is placed right where it works with my sit bones. Some bibs from other manufactures end up with my sit bones at the edge or above the pad, these are in the right place. The location of the straps are nice. In other bibs I wear a small, but I had to return these and get large. I'm 5'8" 175 lbs, I may have gotten by with Mediums, but these work well. They make returns easy as can be. The only item I don't like is the high rise in the front, I could see these getting hot, not sure the reason for this, but I would like them to be at belly button height, not at the upper part of my lower rib cage. I did a 62 mile ride on gravel with 4,500 ft of climbing and the comfort was great, a longer ride would have been comfortable.

So far, so good
I bought these because I was so pleased with my other two pairs of Evolution bibs. They have been the best I have found for long distance riding with no saddle sores. This new model has a new style pad and seems to fit a little looser, but it still performs as well as the previous model.
