2nd Tree Kit

It worked so much better than I expected

Solid but simple kit that works very well.

I've set this up a couple of times now with two different bikes ( one of which was a Brompton) and a tarp on top. The kit is pretty simple but gives just the right bits to get the job done. Great quality and well thought out as ever with TTTM. I found it easier to use whoopie slings for tension on the main hammock lines as getting the tension correct there is more key with the limited height of the bike. Having a stand on the bike helps but if you get the first line in and lean the bike into that until you have everything connected then that works well. I used a bit of old inner tube to tie the brakes on which helps keep things stable. The dual peg system works well in most soils that I have tried. I also got a couple of those giant plastic screw pegs that seem to work as well. This will make trips out on the bike so much better as I only need to find one good tree now! Just need to make a second kit with a fold up pole so I can go tree free if required!
