TrekShield® 3-In-1

Trek shield, one for my car, one for the trapper in the family. Love the large size! Serious weather coverage as a poncho. Also am happy to have it in my car as a groundsheet or shade for wherever I stop for my thermos of coffee.(Always somewhere dry to sit). It is light and tiny when packed away.

I bought this poncho to hike Mt Kinabalu in Borneo, and for general rain cover on our trip. It was super lightweight and easy to slip into my day bag on those 'just in case' days. The poncho style was great for the hike as it easily covered myself and my backpack in an instant. We experienced some pretty heavy rain so found that after a while, the wet did start to seep in a bit, particularly at the contact point with my backpack. Despite that, would definitely recommend as an easy, lightweight and breathable option for hot, humid and wet climates or for a really easy throw-on when the rain hits.

I have not used it yet as our trip was cancelled due to really bad weather. It looks good and covers me and my pack so have been waiting to try it out
