ChirpSounds System (Complete)

Like opening the windows without opening the windows.

I genuinely didn't expect to be this surprised. Setup took about five minutes. Within an hour my kitchen sounded like I was standing in the backyard, just without the cold air or the screen between me and the birds. The first morning my wife and I sat with coffee and used the Merlin app alongside it, and we identified more than ten different species without leaving the room. You really do have to use it to get it. Photos and descriptions don't capture the feeling.

Working perfectly, eventually!

It was delivered so quickly! And the packing is excellent. We made the common mistake about getting the Acorn and speaker together, but luckily, having read the instructions more carefully, everything is working perfectly. However, we have many windows, each of which is low-E and so nothing worked until I went to reader reviews on the web, one of which suggested putting the speaker close to a wall. We managed to do that, even though we have many more windows than walls. It would be helpful if this helpful hint was also highlighted in the instructions! It's super great!! Many thanks. And, of course, paired with Merlin, it is spectacular, although we never can figure out where a particular bird might be. Does a house prevent the Acorn from listening to whatever is behind the house in every direction? Super pleased, well worth its cost!!!!
