Well…they showed up as well formed bulbs…having been in the ground for a few weeks now they have started to show their sprouts…whether or not they will render delicious saffron remains to be determined by their willingness to flower, behave and be willing to flower in chilly conditions and have their reproductive organs politely removed, dried, preserved and cooked. I will happily update you at a later date😂

Healthy Looking
The bulbs looked very good upon arrival. Not sure I've planted them with enough time for them to bloom, but they're in the ground (with an abundant dash of cayenne pepper on the soil to keep the squirrels from digging them up)
