Adjustable Base

Solid base

I got the adjustable base for my king size hybrid mattress. I didn't want an adjustable base but after researching, I learned that the base for that mattress needs to be very durable to support the weight and the slats need to be spaced correctly for adequate airflow and support. Other options that I looked at were either more expensive or had reviews that mentioned creaking - so I just went with this one. It was a great choice. We had some creaking at first but we just needed to tighten the supports more and now it's silent. It's easy to assemble and is simple to use. It comes with a remote that allows you to raise the head or raise under your knees. It's great for reading in bed or for watching tv. I mostly went with it because boring sells it, so it is obviously a good choice for the bed. I learned that the correct kind of base is just as important as the correct kind of mattress.

Simple, but just what’s needed!

We finally just bought an adjustable base with the mattress. In the past we’ve always said “oh we will add it later” and never do. I am SO happy we finally decided to get one. I was a little apprehensive on this as it had no reviews, so I figured I would have to write one if it was great. And it has been great! Very silent and smooth operation, comes preset with an anti snore and zero gravity which we use every night for TV. We have it inside a king frame from Wayfair that was compatible with adjustable bases. We did end up not being able to use the center support and slats of the frame, but it is just for looks anyway! It wasn’t difficult to put together, but it was a little difficult trying to put it together next to / in the bed frame. If I were to do it again I would probably build the bed frame last and around the base. Regardless it’s been an amazing addition to our house as well as the paired mattress!
