The Ranger

This is a great pack, and is well made by a small business! This is my second pack from Evolved, this one being my “day” pack. One of the reasons I purchased the first pack is the same reason I did this one. It’s the load lifters. An essential part of the great pack equation. Don’t get caught sleeping on this piece of gear!

I love the materials and the design, super simple for ultralight backpacking. I am pretty tall and large, the pack needs to ride pretty high on my back to line up properly, Darwin helped me understand that when I visited the store in person. The waist straps are really just used to keep the pack close to your back. I think I would feel a little more comfortable with the long torso version of the Space Ranger, but my daughter and wife love this pack and I had bought it for them anyway.
