Mod Kit

You can legally, officially mod your chromatic to your liking? AWESOME!

...and this is not just for the optics it is also in the tactile feeling of all the "buttons". Too clicky? Change the membranes to a softer one. D-Pad not to your liking? Change it out! The stickers are a nice bonus, but the tool is the real star. You will just need that for unscrewing any screws on your Chromatic. Simply as that. That kit really makes the whole spirit of Modretro as a company visible. Own your device and mod it to your hearts content. Thanks for respecting us not only as a customer but also as tech people!

Fantastic Idea

I love that this even exists in an age where electronics are usually part of a walled garden, or designed to be hard to open up and modify. There's a nice variety of colors for the face buttons, and a choice between softer and stiffer button membranes for your preferred button feel. I prefer the softer ones personally and find them to be slightly quieter. The mod kit also includes the needed screwdriver for opening up your Chromatic and the process of changing out the buttons was super easy. Overall just really great for the price! Loving the look of the yellow buttons on my Leaf Green Chromatic

Genuine Replacement Parts

This is such a great addition to the Chromatic. To not only be able to customize but also allow for repairs is so refreshing in this day and age where all our devices seemed to be built with planned obsolescence. This makes the Chromatic able to be maintained, repaired and then eventually passed down to the next generation.
