Very good Metroid style game
This is a great new Metroid style game (not Metroidvania, as Castlevania Symphony of the Night borrowed from Metroid). Looks, sounds and plays great.

Good Game, Maybe Not For Me.
The game has really great color palette, sprites, and overall design. The mechanics and controls are tight and responsive. I really WANT to enjoy this game, but it very much is meant to be a challenging metroidvania. This is just not a kind of game that I am good at, personally. I would encourage others to give it a shot. I will continue to try and practice and maybe I will get past the first boss! But until then, I'll enjoy other titles in this library. The four stars instead of five is not really because I suck at the game, but more that the dialogue isn't very engaging. Which I think is notable considering I didn't get very far. Maybe I would be hooked more if I was able to progress further.

Short but decidedly sweet
It's clear that a lot of care and attention to detail went into the making of this fun little metroidvania style adventure, and what it manages to wring out of GBC hardware is seriously impressive. Although it is a bit on the short side, it also doesn't overstay its welcome or pad out the adventure with unnecessary bloat, leading to a thoroughly enjoyable ride. Definitely worth a look!
