Play This One First!
I'll admit it: I'm not great at finishing my video games. Not that there's anything wrong with that, necessarily, but I can attest to understanding the strong dopamine push of actually getting all the way through one.
That's the biggest pro of Wicked Plague, to me (aside from the music!). You have a great Metroidvania, that does just enough to earn that moniker, and it's not that long! This is a positive! In the hand, with 30 min up to 2 hour sessions, this game just rocks.

Roguelike platformer on Gameboy
I have never played a roguelike platformer on Gameboy until Wicked Plague. It is shorter than I like but that's ok. Hope it inspires more devs for this genre on the Gameboy. Would totally get it again if there is a sequel.

Great Game Classic Feel
Really enjoyed this game. The gameplay and exploration was satisfying. Plenty of exploration and quality platforming. Combat was enjoyable and writing was fun. Feels like a great portable Metroidvania. Art style fits the theme very well.
