Revisiting a Classic Series!
I have enjoyed playing many games in the Rayman series across various platforms. It was nice to revisit this particular game in the series with the new soundtrack. I did not have any issues with the game on either my Chromatic or Game Boy Color. I also appreciated the fact that this physical game cartridge release came with an instruction manual and Chromatic Charm, all of which I intend to keep for many years to come. Keep up the good work ModRetro!

A fun classic
Probably my most played game on the original Gameboy color, and it’s still fun today! While the original soundtrack is nostalgic to me, the new soundtrack in this version feels ‘swingy’ and while it has some catchy tunes, it may at times feel a bit detached from the themes of the levels, but that may just be my familiarity with the original. It’s nice that the password is saved after turning off, essentially saving your progress.

A legend returns
Rayman is one of those bigger-than-life mascots from the 90s, and this game perfectly encapsulates that feel - right down to the decently challenging difficulty. The updates here to be able to instantly jump back in from the last completed level are quite a nice quality-of-life boost.
