Great button deck
Once set up, very easy to use the Home Assistant blueprint to create actions and automations. I have mine set to disable some lighting automations and audio alerts when I need to focus. ESP extensibility is also helpful if you want to add additional lighting effects for the status LEDs. It’s great how open source Apollo devices are.

Interesting, Very Interesting
BTN-1 Macro Deck: I have the basic device along with the battery option and a spare set of smoky keycaps. I assembled it per instructions (a Wiki page) and watched Brendon's new video. Assembly was simply to insert the 4 key switches (be careful !) and the 3 original white keycaps. Looks good, keys feel great, and the battery gives a hefty feel. Fortunately, 'cause it was on the rear side, the base plastic was a tad warped exposing a gap and leaving the top deck distorted. Plugged it to my PC (not the HA Green) w/ USB and it HA recognized discovered it quickly enough as an ESPHome device. Gave it my router's SSID (or was it IP? or name?) and password. Great start. Put all the suggested sensors, etc. into my general purpose dashboard so I have 4 LED on/off/color/brightness controls, 4 buttons w/ 1,2,3, or hold click responses. woohoo! It also offers battery SOC & voltage, device temperature, online status, RSSI, and uptime data. Some wakey-wakey things too. After a day had passed unplugged from the USB, I flipped the battery switch to 'On', and a few seconds later (maybe a minute), it was back online and worked as I described above. Plugged in the USB and switched off the battery to see how & when the SOC changes. It is charging as I type. Now it's time for the fun to begin ... how to use it to enhance my HA experience (including those tempting dip sockets poking out :) -Mike

Good Product, so far I am very happy with it
Hello, I have been using this product and it works great. I went and pulled the HA blueprint down and implemented it into my HA install and it made it so easy. My only issues was the 3D printed case is fragile, when I was adding the stand to it, I was trying to assemble it to the BTN-1 and it broke off a piece of the track that holds it onto the stand/mount. Maybe re engineer that a bit, but the actually product is great. Thanks!
