Based on the notes alone, I was expecting this to be a much more gourmand forward and syrupy like you would get if you didn’t mix your bubble tea before taking a sip with the slightest hint of tea. Instead, you get a really sophisticated inverse of this and makes the tea the star of the show. The black tea is quite photorealistic and includes the floral and nutty nuances that often get overlooked. Then there’s the milk and the starchiness of the boba that softens the whole base. This creates such a soft bubble around you and is very office safe. It’s quite delicate but still very nice to get whiffs of throughout the day when you put your nose up to it.
