Floating Flame

Great product! Abysmal customer service. Falsely advertising discount codes then attacking customers for pointing them out. Luckily the product far exceeds the quality of the employee answering the emails. And then they replied to this review saying I attempted use an expired discount code lol… the customer relations joke continues… I attempted to use a code that one of their affiliates was advertising for $100 off… i was told their affiliate was mistaken and it was only $50 off… again false advertising… and instead of trying to make things right they simply wanted to argue and attack me and my business personally… I instead purchased at full price even paying for the cover that had an active discount code just so i could leave a review… but i can now see that they just flat out lie and continue to prove my point that whoever is handling their communication deserves an award for the most pathetic employee ever.

A perfect addition to our boat

Our Floating Flame is the perfect addition to our 22’ Bennington. We used it over Memorial Day weekend on the CA lake where we have a slip, and aside from being an attention getter, it was also great for a little warmth during our romantic sunset cruise. We love it!

Great durability, but didn't meet expectations

First off, this thing is built well. I have no doubt it will last years in the sun without wearing down. It is heavy, though—especially with the propane tank in. Unfortunately, it just doesn't put out the heat we expected. It manages to stay lit in our North Dakota wind, but it struggles to actually keep us warm. We also had a major issue with the "universal" fit. On our boat, the unit sits right over the floor's table anchor, which is high enough that the propane tank can't seat correctly. It ends up rocking and making noise the whole time. I'm disappointed it didn't work for our specific setup, and knowing what I know now, I probably wouldn’t buy it again.
