This thing is perfect for your phone, keys, pouches, books, tablets, or even your laptop if you want to do some movie watching before bed and just tos the thing up there. My wife loves that we can stuff clothes and jackets up above it to get them off the bed so we don't need to just throw them down or deal with them being on the bed!

My favorite cab to tent storage system

The huck pack gear loft ties into the huckpack storage behind my front seat. This allows me to take stuff up into the tent at night and not question where anything is. Awesome!
