Make your own traditional leather canteen, inspired by the costrels and drinking vessels of the medieval period.
This is one of my older canteen designs, with a broad rounded body, narrow neck and leather attachment points for adding a strap or carrying cord. It's a great project for medieval kits, reenactment, LARP, SCA use, or just anyo

Old Style Costrel
New to leatherwork. Great pattern, simple too make, coming out great. My first is made, starting the second for my other son, both in Scouts. Don't care if they use them or not, I'm doing it for the experience. Certainly cant beat it for 5 bucks.
