I like the v1 more. V1 is lighter and more flexibile, and comes with the ortholite sole which makes it good as a first time barefoot wearer. The v2 feels like the upper and the sole weren't designed for each other, since it has creases in the fabric that did not happen on my 2 pairs of the v1. Then the change in size, if a 44 v1 fit me well, the 44 v2 is now larger. I guess the v1 ran short so I can understand the change, but again, if you were a fan of the v1 then this means you need to figure out which size you are on. Overall I would buy the v1 as long as it will be available, but the v2 is still a fine shoe.
