My cat has been eating (and barfing up) my Pony Tail Palms. My throw rugs and palms like the cat grass better. My kitty cat seems to enjoy it but eats in in secret like she used to hit my other plants. The big win will be the foliage getting out of laundry room jail.

I originally grew it (just wheat grass) for my cats to eat. Well, cats being cats their choices are built upon a different set of rules than I do. I use a half sheet pan, stainless steel, filled with potting soil. I wait until the grass get 3" tall then put it out for them. This is only during the winter. They find it attractive to lay on. There are towels or pillows for them lay on but they prefer to lay on the grass. I use two trays and cycle them, when one get matted down I put the other out which allows the first tray to recover. Great stuff that gives the cats a little bit of outdoors during the winter.

My cat loves, loves this grass. He like to put his feet in the planter even and smell it all. LOL
