FR555 - Olive

actually a surprisingly good bike for a company that is new and didn't have any real reviews I could find online. I know pretty much the same bike as every other big drop ship brand that's going around at the moment. main reason I chose flight Resto is cuz my work had got a couple of them and they also have the indicators and lights already built into the bike, and with all the new strict laws around e-bikes coming out I thought they would be safe as option to have them already. I got the 555 I kind of wish I'd got the 777 for the dual motor for the traction on softer terrain but other than that then a good bike so far

Cannot fault the team at Flight Risk. From ordering the bike to picking up. Paul and the team couldn’t do enough to help and support. We also dropped in to the recent community open day and the technicians were happy to answer any questions and give us tips. Amazing product and service.

Bike is quality, comes with touch up paint and a set of nice colour coordinated Allen keys. I took a star off because it's a little tall, while on the bike I can just get my tippy toes down. Which is fine on normal street. Unfortunately I live on the side of a mountain/steep hill, this makes take off very difficult, the pedal assist will not engage until the pedals are moving a bit which makes a hill start very difficult. The bike being so tall means these hills starts feel a little scary for short Kings because if you don't get your balance right you only have tippy toes to keep a heavy bike upright. This is a quality product and I might need to come back for a second review when I get more practice taking off on my steep hill as this time I removed a star for what might be a skill issue on my part.
