Loved it!

I’ve read all your books and have never been disappointed. This is another of the same caliber. The good thing with audio is you don’t have to put it down, just carry from room to room if at home, and Bluetooth if traveling. I loved it. The narrator did a great job as usual

I loved this story. I’m a solid reader of all of Toni’s books and this story has been greatly anticipated by me. Although it can be read as a stand alone, for me matching timelines with other stories in the series was an intellectual challenge. I love stories with intelligent women and Rowena, librarian and all around nice person, is one. The way the story splits between Kurt and Rowena in Africa and the rest of the team in the US is very well done. Links between the hostages and the villains on both continents layer the thrills and mystery. Tension is created with events in both places. Many good chases and close escapes. Expect to be unable to find a good spot to turn off the story because you’ll really want to continue listening. Eric G. Dove provided his dulcet tones to the audio book and it’s never easy to stop listening to him.
