GREAT BUY
Great Products. I bought one 1 of each for my trip to Alaska and they are worth every penny. Yes, they are snug at first but mold to your head with every wear. Do not hesitate to buy.

Just like Grandad had
I love it. Absolutely plan on picking up a spare and possibly the merino when its back in stock. A little itchy at first, but thats whati was looking for.

Ironclad. USA made. Time tested material.
This hat is pretty ironclad when it comes to the cold. My head only started getting cold when the wind chill started getting into negative temperatures. My head is a size 7 3/8 and it seems to have room for stretching. The wool is on the rougher side and does tend to itch a bit. Without going too deep into details wool can be worked with to accommodate a snug fit by running it through warm water and washing or treating with lanolin can help mitigate some of the itchiness. I like that these are made domestically and im not entirely sure why we've strayed away from wool garments. Its frankly an amazing material for textiles.
