Great conversation starter
We used the Hello Game during the first session of a 2-part program on writing Advance Care Plans. The participants thoroughly enjoyed the game - though game is not really what this is - and the conversations were open and insightful.
We did not use the thank you tokens as the two of us leading this session had found that they were distracting to the purpose of the activity when we had used them before.

“Death over Dinner” programs
I have used these for this program and the degree to which folks have opened up quickly was amazing. I have also used them at a gathering not about death and it was the best icebreaker I know of!
