Not at all what I expected. I had originally seen these earrings online at Nordstrom they really caught my eye. When I went to purchase, they were sold out, so I went online directly to Deepa Gurnani to look for them and was excited that they were in stock. I just received them literally 5 mins ago, and for the price, the packaging should be better. Once I got a closer look, my first thoughts were that these are ugly and look very cheap. There's a suede type of material on the backside of the earrings (I'm not sure what that's all about?) Never seen earrings made like that before. Suggestion to the maker.. Post pics of both front and back of your earrings. I doubt that I will ever wear these. I'm not sure if they're returnable, but if so, they're definitely going back.
