Beautiful pattern on too light a stock
The thin black lines separating the white from the light blue really make this weave something special, but the stock is so light that this tie is difficult to actually use. Unlike most tie fabrics, this stuff doesn't relax on its own between wearings, so it pretty much requires ironing. Even then, forming a descent knot is challenging and tends to require an oversized configuration like a Hanover in order to have any appreciable body at all.
