i havent used this one yet, so unable to comment. However, the communication and product support from Heirloom is excellent, the best in my opinion.

A bit smelly
Been using the tallow for CP soap making without an issue, but decided to use it for whipped tallow balm and i cannot get rid of the smell even with essential oils. My daughter couldn’t get past the smell and said it got stronger over a few days even with lavender in it. I have water rendered a portion of it 3 times and still smells beefy. Good for soap not for skincare in my opinion.

Beef Tallow
Purchased this to make facial tallow balm.
Turned out perfectly, feels amazing, has made a huge difference to my skin already.
Very impressed!! Slight beefy smell, but I used Rose essential oil and it wasn't as bad.
I bought the 1kg to try, but will be buying larger soon. Give it a go. I love Heirloom products.
