Field & Stream back in paperback

I'm sure glad a friend sent me the info about the 1871 Club! There's just something special about turning pages in a great outdoor iconic magazine. I've framed old covers in barn wood over the years like the ones pictured here.

The Hat That Brought Me Back to Field & Stream

This is my first issue of Field & Stream since I was a kid selling magazine subscriptions, and I couldn't be happier. I was watching the Brickyard 400 NASCAR race and saw that No. 67 Field & Stream car take the checkered flag, but then I saw Corey Heim put on a camo trucker Field & Stream hat. . . I NEEDED that hat. I looked everywhere and saw that it wasn't being sold individually yet. Then, a few days later, it showed up as a special offer with the Field & Stream subscription, which caught my attention immediately. I instantly got the annual subscription and joined the 1871 Club. I am so glad I did. I quickly received my issue of Vol. 131, No. 1 (along with my Corey Heim hat, my 1871 Club hat, and a sticker or two). I loved the cover artwork. Field & Stream and Pennsylvania Game News covers have always been my favorites. The stories, artwork, and images throughout this issue were incredible. My favorite story was "The Schoolhouse Boys. " I always love hearing about how life used to be, as well as how people keep traditions alive. I am so happy that I subscribed to Field & Stream once again, and I can't wait for the next issue this September! One of my goals is to one day get my first whitetail with my Dad's 1990s PSE bow and hopefully have my picture in the pages of this magazine. Until then, I'll keep enjoying every issue and dreaming about that day. Please keep up the great work, and I look forward to reading the next issue!
