Curve Earth Tan
Absolutely love it, gorgeous bag, beautiful leather! The color, while equally beautiful, is lighter and less of a rust color than what it is on the website. This threw me a bit initially, but I confirmed with customer service that I indeed had the correct color.
If I had to pick one improvement, and this really is the tiniest little quibble, it would be the ability to truly wear it as a shorter shoulder bag, like the Maxi Curve. The reason being, I’m short (5’ 2”), and when wearing it on my shoulder, even with the strap adjusted to the shortest length, it still hangs too low for a shoulder bag, at least for me, but that may just be a personal preference. Although, I believe I read somewhere that a shoulder bag should sit between the mid-torso and the top of hip, and a bag does usually look best at this level. However, this bag hangs lower than that and looks a little awkward to me. With that said, I purchased this bag with the intention of carrying it in my hand or on my arm using the smaller strap, so this is not a complaint or a problem for me, just more of a heads up to my fellow petite folks who may want to wear it as a shoulder bag.
While I very likely will not wear it this way, I can fit the bag on my shoulder using the shorter strap, and by ‘fit’, I mean the bag is right under my arm, no drop…so….not ideal, and wearing it this way will probably only work in the summer when I don’t have on a jacket or a coat. I don’t think the shorter strap is meant to be used as a shoulder strap (it is a fairly short strap), but it seems somewhat doable for me, at least without a jacket on.
