This linen is named for the mineral that is commonly refered to as 'Fools Gold'. It has an aged gold or khaki tone. The word 'Pyrite' has Greek roots and roughly translates to 'the stone which strikes fire'.

I love stitching on this linen, I always get 46 count and it is lovely to stitch on. As always, the linen is very well packaged and delivery time is excellent.
