Worth the effort!

Finally! iOS with APT-X HD support! Worth every penny + effort! Unfortunately app is region-locked (USA/JP) and there is no straight way to install it. Tried to do this alone and failed. Fortunately support works VERY well and was able to help me right away. If not for the app, I would give 6/5 stars.

Good, but hopeful for improvement

Generally speaking, I am satisfied. The hardward, the dongle itself, does as intended. A few occassional drop outs when listening over a 30 minute period but it does not seem to be persistent and it auto corrects itself. The more annoying issue, and the primary reason for the less than perfect score, is the software/app experience (on iphone/ios in my case). While you can use the app to select an audio codec, it never actually displays the codec in use within the app. You just have to believe the codec chosen is the one in use. There's no autosensing or persistent visibility setting so the selected codec always shows as unselected. You just have to trust it. I do think and hope it fixable via an app update and that's why I leaned toward a four star at this point and not a three.

But only with Anima Studio App, somehow tricky to download for iOS in some regions. Tricky means not impossible- I have done it from HKG. Ask your AI or support and enjoy better codecs! Withe the first pairing I got also software upgrade for 1.3 ver. Connects to devices in eye blink.
