The programming has many glitches. Alot of the lessons ask the child to slide over objects in to boxes, but they are almost never lined up correctly. When the student completes an assignment, they don't always get the credit, which results in having to be recompleted. Sometimes the 'next' arrows are cut off the screen. We're normally able to just reduce the size of the image on the screen, but sometimes, the only work around is to refresh which results in my son having to restart the lesson. This can be very frustrating. While I appreciate the ability to have short lessons, there needs to be an option to skip over videos or to at least speed them up. There are times when they are extremely slow or covering subjects that are way too easy for my son, but he's forced to waste his time watching them, instead of being able to skip to the next lesson while still receiving credit. If there are subjects the student did poorly on, the system should recognize that and have the student go back over the same lesson before moving on, instead of allowing them to move on without understanding the lesson. Those things aside, it is fairly easy to use and extremely convenient to have available where ever we may be. The pictures and videos are pretty informative as well.

Oliver loved Language Arts and the extensions most of all. Science was fun but he hsd a bit of trouble with Math. Honestly, I think he is smarter but doesn't feel challenged. He plays around too much and acts dumb allot. He has been doing alot of stiming I believe it's called and given the weather here in Missouri he didn't get out too often. That and little interaction with other children compared to the Aquatic center or visits to the park and being overstimulated from the new Nintendo switch has made his behavioral issues worse. Matthew and I want to try sending him back to school in Autumn 🍂 but overall, Time 4 Learning has fulfilled all of our wishes with Curriculum for a 1st grader and I am happy he finally finished all Curriculum.

This online curriculum is very very user friendly! I was brand new to homeschooling for my autistic son and this program allows me to control and adjust and just tweak it to meet my son's individual needs! My daughter is also autistic and will be starting the time4learning this fall as well!
