Well overdue skate upgrade

I've been committed to Antiks for my last two pairs moving from MG2s to AR1s but after consistent toe injuries over the last year due to shrinking feet I needed some new boots. Fully certain I'd walk out with another pair of newer AR1s, just sized better, I tried to have an open mind and try some other boots on. I I was really surprised that I leant towards the Solaris as they'd never really garnered my attention until that point but the comfort, particularly around the toes was next level. Skated on them for the first time this week and am definitely a convert.

Took me a moment to adjust to playing roller derby in great derby appropriate skates (I was using my healed dance skates for ages) but I am soooo in love with them! Super comfy and fitting service was great as decent skates aren’t cheap. There’s no leaving the roller derby world now, that’s for sure! Thank you!
