Cherry Tale - cherry chipotle salsa

It’s good, but I think it sounded better to me than it actually tastes. For what it is and what it’s trying to be, it’s very well done. I just don’t think I enjoy that combination of flavors in a salsa as much as I thought I would. I’d also probably like it a little more if it were chunkier. The consistency was slightly more runny than I expected.

I started out as a Machismo fan, and I still am, but this has become my favorite salsa. It grew on me--at first I didn't think it was cherry-forward enough, but now I think it's perfect--great on sunny side up eggs.

This salsa is awesome. It is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy!!
