MR66 AIR-WINDOW

Just put it on this morning. Im an 83 year old woman. Getting the old one off was the first task. I used the little plastic knife thingy that came with my cap to free the velcro. The new cap went on very easily with little adjustment needed. It seemed a wee bit roomier than the old one.. I then blew it up and every thing fitted fine. It is shorte than the old one it sits on top of my tailgate. But as it doesn't use the velcro strap so that's ok. I'm a tinkerer and feel that because it has no central tie down it might flap around a bit when driving. I will fix that issue for myself. Also I wonder about water getting in as its on top not over the tail gate. Im in Ca. So not much water here. Lol. But I wonder about dust. All in all a well build heavy duty improvement on the old window. I Love I can open it to a screen. Next a road trip to try it out. Thank you.

The new window design has been a huge upgrade so far. Really the only negative I have to say about it is how it fits. My original back window was an MR64 so I ordered the same in the new design. When I went to put it on it did not fit. The new design was too small for my truck. So I ended up contacting support and they sent me out the MR66 instead. It fits a lot better. The length is still off by an inch or so but I was able to adjust it to where it fits pretty good now. Overall the design is hands down better than the original. And as always the customer support has been amazing from Flated. By far the best customer support that I have ever dealt with.

It's like you were on my last camping trip. Everyone asked about the Flated topper and my only negative comment about it was the rear " flap". It covered the camera unless you folded it out of the way. Then you neded automotive anti scratch tape to protect the paint from the velcro strap. Now, it's a proper topper for my truck.
