The published wind ranges for the 4m, 3.2m, and 2.5m have been spot on with a 65L ATV and ha880 at 75 kg + wetsuit. The minimum is about the lowest I can get up in and the max is where it starts to feel uncomfortable enough to reach for the smaller size if I packed it. They go upwind faster than my mid-tier hand wings and handle gusts better. I don't enjoy unhooked riding upwind, but the Pyro is amazing upwind once hooked. When the power comes on, just lean harder, point higher, and go faster. If absolutely necessary, it's easy to depower and luff the entire canopy while the leading edge stays rock solid. The steering and handling is intuitive and predictable with one exception. If you over sheet the bar when hunting for more power, the Pyro can start steering erratically - dropping into the water or flying up in the window. This is particularly noticeable on the 3.2 and 2.5. This has become a non issue once I figured out what was going on. Instead, bare off a little for speed and then point back up with higher apparent wind to get the power back on while letting the wing breathe. I put the mono-line harness right at the front of the foam grip and the wing can mostly fly itself from that point.
I prefer to do the full A-line stash to get the entire leading edge concertina in one go, but if really lit the middle A-line kill is very effective.
Overall, a great all-around parawing with easy handling and good performance. Learning to parawing came quick for me and the Vayu is a large reason why.
