I’ve owned a pair of yaktrax for over a decade but hadnt had an ipportunity to use them these last few winters. A month ago we had a ton of snow followed immediately by frozen rain which dropped about 2 inches of ice on top of the snow. It took our city over a week to deal with our roads and we have two dogs with no fenced in yard. Were it not for yaktrax walking our dogs (even just taking them to the front yard) would have been impossible. My husband loved mine so much i bought him a pair. I tell everyone about this product and was excited to upgrade once my old pair died a couple weeks ago.

At least 35 years ago I bought a pair of Yaktrax. I only neededto use them for one winter-in !993. This year, at age 85, it was clear they would be be needed once again. After these 3 decades, the pair had not deteriorated at all. Now, at 85, I have found in this heavy winter snow that I can walk anywhere with complete confidence, and without walking like an old lady . Must be out with my dog, and to shovel snow, and get about. These have helped so much in all my activities outside that I ordered another pair for anyone around me who needed extra help. It is so impressive that such a small item has kept me safe to move as I wish on heavy snow and ice. I am grateful. KKathleen Thomas

Good stuff, everyone needs to be prepared for ice, black ice etc, Northern North Carolina Mountains, There were 15 breaks from falls in one day on the day I fell. My cousin informed about Yactrax, great idea and work well in cold and bad weather. Great investment and can save you an emergency room trip.
