This winter of snow and ice has made better traction essential and Yak Trax spikes are the ticket. They work wonderfully and have saved me from falling multiple times. Can't recommend them enough.

Yaktrax probably saved me from falling again. I had already fallen twice during the most recent east coast storm which put down a lot of ice then snow. I found these online and decided to give them a try. Absolutely fantastic! The spikes really bit into the snow and ice. The webbing itself fit nice and snug around my outdoor shoes. The strap that goes over the top of the shoe keeps them even more secure. Money well spent!

Haven't actually used them on ice. They are very hard to pull on over a hiking shoe. I wear a woman's 8.5 and barely got the S/M on the shoe. If I order again, I'll buy the L/XL, which I ordered for my husband and tried on my shoe; it was much easier to mount. It seems like a good, well made product; I'll update this review after the next ice storm.
