Truly water proof lightweight rain jacket

My husband and I tested out our new rain jackets that fold into their own pockets this past weekend on a very rainy camping trip 4 weeks before our trip to Ireland and they work perfectly! Nice big pockets protect our phones and even a sizable back up charger too. Very well thought out and indispensable.

pocket zipper failed

I loved the design and it soon became my most packable travel jacket (of at least 7 in the closet--hey, I'm 73 and still run outside . . .), but when the pocket zipper failed (no trauma or accident, it just quit working correctly), it was out of warranty. I send it in anyway, hoping it could be fixed. Today, I decided I liked and missed the jacket enough that I went to order and pay for a new one. But it's not available in XL or L in blue, and I tried the other colors but they were sold out, too. So, if you're a small or XXXXL or whatever the other remaining size was, buy it and treat the zipper gingerly. If you're the Montem quality control or PR folks reading this, please keep making jackets like this because they are really nice when they work!!
