pocket zipper failed

I loved the design and it soon became my most packable travel jacket (of at least 7 in the closet--hey, I'm 73 and still run outside . . .), but when the pocket zipper failed (no trauma or accident, it just quit working correctly), it was out of warranty. I send it in anyway, hoping it could be fixed. Today, I decided I liked and missed the jacket enough that I went to order and pay for a new one. But it's not available in XL or L in blue, and I tried the other colors but they were sold out, too. So, if you're a small or XXXXL or whatever the other remaining size was, buy it and treat the zipper gingerly. If you're the Montem quality control or PR folks reading this, please keep making jackets like this because they are really nice when they work!!

survived a miserable rainy day, okay

wore the jacket today, for the first time on this miserable wet & rainy day. I work outside at a market. The rain went from heavy to mild to misty, to intense bouncing windy sheets of rain going sideways. The jacket handled itself well. I probably should've had a layer to put under it, for once it got into the 60's it was chilly. mind you it was 90° yesterday. The pictures taken are after wearing jacket 8 hours. I usually wear an XL I got the XXXL since previous reviews said to do that, and it fit nicely.
