Can't lift but can slide

These strips do a great job of holding the touchpads down, however they slide across the gutter. We have a large number of younger swimmers so they naturally pull on the touchpads while holding the wall. The touchpads would slide forward and off the gutter. Great idea, wish it had solved our problem.
