Vast improvement over stones included with affordable fixed angle sharpening system. Both faster and better consistency. Metal backing also seems to fit better into the holder. Some things initially went wrong with delivery, because of DPD parcel service messing things up, but Mario at Hapstone responded very quickly to my messages and handled things perfectly. Big compliments to Hapstone customer service! Edit: the review is mentions the 1000 grit, but the pictures are of the 150 grit. Regardless, the 150, 500 and 1000 grit are all great stones.
