I installed this mailbox after my old one kept getting hit by snow from the plow. The soil in my area has many large rocks, making it difficult to dig and bury a 4x4 post. I was able to install the post for this using a 10 poind sledge in just minutes. It is made of high quality steel and the included plug made installation easier. I also bought a mailbox and mounting board. I’ll be interested to see how it handles getting hit with snow from the plow this year.
